This place was always on the touristic recommendations and I have to say I was a bit skeptical but GUYS. This is not even close to any focaccia I had before in my life. The bottom is crunchy and the top is moist and soft, it was fresh outta the oven, the tomatoes were melting… Don’t leave Bari without trying this. 🤤

Let’s be honest—this place is on everyone’s to-do list when visiting Bari. It’s legendary, iconic, and, let’s face it, impossible to miss if you’ve spent more than five minutes Googling “best focaccia in Bari.” So naturally, I had to see what all the fuss was about. When I arrived, there was already a long queue outside, but I decided to wait it out. What I didn’t expect was that there are actually two lines—one for the locals, who seem to get served right away, and another for tourists who, like me, came specifically for the famous focaccia. As my turn approached, I realized the wait wasn’t really due to the crowd, but more because of how things were being managed. The owner was running the counter all on his own, while the wife was around but mostly chatting😂. I guess that’s part of the slower, more relaxed rhythm you find in southern Italy😴😴😴.
When I finally got my turn, I ordered the classic tomato focaccia🍕 and honestly, I couldn’t help but start eating it immediately. It was warm, simple, and delicious.
So, what’s the verdict? It’s definitely worth trying. It might not be the absolute best focaccia I’ve had, but it’s easily in my top 3, a must-visit! The best focaccia we found in the city! The restaurant opens at 10:00 (according to Google), and we arrived around 10:15 but still had to wait in line for about 30 minutes. Totally worth it though, the focaccia was amazing!

I did not think it would be this good, it was amazing. I could not believe how cheap it is. 4 pcs of focaccia was only 6 euros. Try many different kind. It turn out to be artichoke one was the best for me unexpectedly ❤️

Definitely worth the hype! As a Puglian myself, I have eaten a lot of focaccia all over the region my entire life. But this one is definitely one of the best I have ever had! Be ready to queue, but I promise it’s going to be worth it. Price is ok considering how touristic the place is.

Since it’s a thing on the “to-do tourist list”, we also passed by. We came in the evening, around 6pm. The queue wasn’t long, 5-10’. We got a freshly baked focaccia which was obviously good

First we arrived 6minutes after they opened at 2pm and there was already a queue, we discovered you needed a ticket, we were the last ones to get a ticket…still we dindt make it, it was sold out before we even got inside of the bakery. The guy at the door explained us that its unpredictable and that we should return again at 18.00 (15min earlier than the opening and we should be fine to get a foccacia) and there we were 15 min before the opening, we walked and explored the city for 4 hours to be able to make time for the second round…and we made it, we asked for 3 slices but they understood 3 full focaccias, which I only discovered outside of the bakery, I laughed all the way home 😅😆 as I had focaccia for 2 days, but it was such a great price and quality, I couldn’t complain at all. And yes, it was great, crispy and nicely done.. In between we managed to try the Focaccia from Panificio Fiori. We tried traditional foccacio, pepper,margaritha one. They all amazing. You should go earlier. We were there before the opening time. We waited like 20 25 minutes. Dont leave from Bari before trying

THE BEST EVER! You need to go here. The line was 35 minutes, and I will always wait in it. Here’s the catch, the service isn’t friendly but that’s how it’s supposed to be. It’s just the way these italians work and you need to deal with it. i mean I did.

You get the focaccia straight from the oven, they slice it in front of you and put it in a paper bag. And you are good to go.
